The top priority of USLAW NETWORK practice groups is to improve the quality of services its members provide to their clients. USLAW practice groups were forged to provide clients access to:

  • Lawyers from 60 law firms whose practices focus on a specific practice area;
  • Coordinated counsel that collaborate to stay ahead of changing laws and legal issues;
  • Lawyers working together to find new ways to deliver service to clients;
  • Ongoing substantive education and CLE opportunities at the practice group level;
  • Networking opportunities for clients who have similar substantive roles within their companies.

All practice groups have the input and guidance of client advisors – in-house legal professionals who help ensure the practice groups work individually and together to improve the level of service to clients and the quality of counsel.  Client advisors participate in all practice group activities and provide valuable input from the client perspective to participating lawyers and law firms.

Practice groups meet often to develop tools and programs for client contacts, including:

  • Road shows and other traveling educational programs;
  • Client networking opportunities;
  • Educational conferences and programs;
  • Tools and resources for clients, including a Rapid Response Guide for transportation companies;

USLAW practice groups offer member attorneys an opportunity to develop close relationships with fellow members and identify new ways to strengthen the relationship between in-house and outside counsel. Their involvement in these groups enables them to stay on the leading edge of their profession.
