In 2007, USLAW established a mutual relationship with TELFA, the Trans-European Law Firm Alliance, a network of 25 independent law firms in Europe representing more than 700 lawyers.

TELFA was established in 1990 and has its central administration in Brussels, the heart of Europe. The member meet regularly to discuss issues of major importance to their clients. The member firms are not in partnership together.

USLAW’s affiliation ith TELFA offers USLAW member firms and their clients access to top-quality, qualified counsel in Europe.

TELFA offers USLAW clients:

  • Pan-European coverage;
  • Service unaffected by costly bureaucracy;
  • Direct, cost-effective access to leading lawyers in different markets;
  • Partner-led personal service;
  • Swift access to the institutions of the European Union;
  • Independent advice with conflicts of interest kept to a minimum.

These advantages are built on the member firms’ commitment to excellence. Firms subscribe to formal quality, training and IT standards. As a result, TELFA is much more than a mere referrals clearing house : it co-ordinates and facilitates clients’ needs for advice in unfamiliar markets with the comfort that their local partner is confident in the advice they will receive from members across Europe.
