Eric Uhl has over 30 years of experience assisting employers and individuals in all areas of employment law and business related litigation. He has represented clients in employment-related claims before federal and state courts throughout the country and has particular experience in representing clients in litigation involving claims of wrongful termination; discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; compensation and wage and hour issues; civil rights violations; unfair competition and trade secrets; restrictive covenant and non-competition agreements; and other employment-related matters. In addition, Eric advises clients in intellectual property and trademark issues. Eric regularly advises clients in a wide-range of workplace and business issues, including hiring, discipline and discharge, leave issues, personnel policies and handbooks, wage and hour questions, trademarks and intellectual property, and severance agreements. Eric has been awarded the highest rating, an AV® Peer Review Rating, by Martindale Hubbell. Eric is a member of American Bar Association, Section of Labor & Employment Law; the Maine Trial Lawyers Association; the Maine State Bar Association; the Massachusetts Bar Association; and the State Bar of California.
