Kathy So is a seasoned attorney with a broad background spanning private practice, academia, and corporate legal management. She began her legal career focusing on insurance coverage, insurance defense, products liability, and litigation before transitioning to academia, where she spent over a decade teaching business law and management courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs internationally.

Her professional journey also includes serving as in-house counsel and holding senior legal and management roles in the corporate sector, where she gained valuable experience in global legal operations and compliance. Now back in private practice, she brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by her diverse experience. Her current focus includes surety and fidelity, insurance coverage and bad faith, professional liability defense, and complex litigation, with particular strengths in negotiation, mediation, and strategic case management.
