Neil V. Mody

Neil Mody represents insurance companies in complex insurance coverage matters, devoting personal attention to his clients' needs and the unique circumstances of each exposure to achieve favorable results. His clients include some of the world's largest and most sophisticated insurers, as well as emerging companies offering surplus and specialty insurance products. Neil's experience includes hundreds of notable insurer no-cause judgments, dispositive rulings and successful resolutions across a broad range of insurance coverage disputes. He has nearly 15 years of insurance law experience encompassing the full spectrum of insurance lines: personal, property, casualty, excess, marine, contractors, environmental, reinsurance, and specialty and professional risk including D&O, E&O, EPL, cyber, tech and management liability issues. He is also frequently sought by clients for thought leadership and counseling related to complicated or unsettled legal principles in insurance coverage. Before joining Connell Foley's Insurance Coverage Practice Group in 2003, he completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Katharine S. Hayden in United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
