Connor Glynn

Connor Glynn joined Parlee McLaws LLP in 2011 as an associate and became a partner in 2014. In 2017, he joined the firm's management committee and shortly after that became the managing partner. Before joining Parlee McLaws, he worked in private practice with a large Edmonton firm, followed by five years as an in-house lawyer with Canada's largest property and casualty insurer, Intact Insurance. In total, Connor has over 20 years of legal experience. Connor has significant experience in civil litigation, primarily in insurance defense. He has run numerous trials in the Court of Queen's Bench and has successfully argued before the Court of Appeal. Some of the areas of Connor's experience include matters involving defamation, fatalities, large property losses, fire losses, product liability, occupier's liability and personal injury. In 2004, Connor became a board member with the Edmonton Bar Association, where he served until 2010. This included a role as treasurer from 2008-2010, overseeing a quarter of a million dollars in assets. He was elected as the Edmonton Bar Association president in 2009.
