Jennifer Lee began her legal career as an assistant district attorney in Tom Green County, where she gained a vast amount of trial experience handling felony criminal and civil matters. While in law school, Mrs. Lee was a member of the ATLA Mock Trial team, TYLA Mock Trial team, William Daniel Mock Trial team and ABA Negotiations team. Mrs. Lee was also invited into the National Order of Barristers via a nomination from her advocacy coaches based on her litigation skills. Additionally, Mrs. Lee was the Vice President of the Student Bar Association and was a member of the Board of Barristers. While an undergraduate, Mrs. Lee was the External Vice President of the Texas Tech University student body, and a member of the Mortar Board Honor Society and National Honor Society. Mrs. Lee served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Tom Green County, was on the Board of Directors of the Children's Advocacy Center of Tom Green County, as a member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers’ Board of Directors and serves as Secretary for same. Mrs. Lee also served as co-chair of the DAYL Generation Generosity Committee. Mrs. Lee was an associate in the Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court for the 2013-2014 term. Further, Mrs. Lee teaches Sunday School at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Since joining the firm in 2008, Mrs. Lee has successfully defended multiple wrongful death and trucking and construction fatality matters. Recently, Mrs. Lee tried a serious trucking injury case in federal court to a Defense verdict. Additionally, Mrs. Lee has successfully defended clients in construction defect arbitrations. In the nonsubscriber realm, Mrs. Lee assists clients with ERISA plan benefit interpretation; post-workplace injury accident investigation in order to prevent additional accidents and prepare for potential litigation; and defends clients if suit is brought arising from a workplace injury. Mrs. Lee also has vast experience as to general injury defense work in a multitude of genres.
