René Mauricio Alva

Throughout his practice, René Alva has obtained experience in the following areas, in most cases working with foreign investment in Mexico: multinational mergers and acquisitions, real estate developments (industrial, commercial, tourist and residential), joint ventures and shareholders agreements, antitrust and authorizations from the Federal Economic Competition Commission, government bidding processes and other government transactions and acquisitions (defense, energy, health, airspace and air traffic), anti-corruption and anti-bribery, as Mexican legal counsel in FCPA audits of Mexican representatives of U.S. companies. René currently holds the position of co-chair of the American Bar Association's Mexico Committee and is chair of the Mexican National of Corporate Counsel (Chihuahua Chapter).
