Live Better Wellness Week: Resources and Apps to Live Better

During Women’s Connection Month, the week of March 16, 2026 is dedicated to Live Better—our NETWORK-wide focus on balance, resilience, and long-term thriving for women in the legal profession. This special week is a joint initiative between USLAW NETWORK and S-E-A, Ltd., bringing together community and resources to help women lead, grow, and perform at a high level without losing sight of personal wellbeing.

  • America’s Test Kitchen – offers rigorously tested recipes, cooking techniques, equipment reviews, and instructional content created by professional test cooks.
  • TODAY Recipes – features a wide variety of easy, family-friendly recipes—from quick weeknight meals to desserts and trending dishes—shared by TODAY show chefs, food editors, and guest culinary experts.

  • FitOn – a free fitness and wellness app that offers on-demand workouts, guided programs, and classes, allowing users to exercise anytime from home with little or no equipment.
  • Nike Training Club – a free fitness app offering hundreds of guided workouts including strength, mobility, yoga, and cardio sessions led by professional trainers. Many workouts require little or no equipment and can be completed at home.
  • AllTrails – helps users discover local hiking, walking, and running trails with maps, reviews, and difficulty ratings, making it easier to stay active outdoors and explore new routes.

USLAW Strava Club

  • The USLAW S-E-A Live Better Strava Club is a group for USLAW members and their clients who enjoy running, walking, and other outdoor activities. The club provides a space to track miles, share accomplishments, participate in friendly challenges, and stay connected with colleagues through Strava’s social fitness community.
  • How to join:
    • Create an account on Strava.
    • On the desktop site, hover over the Dashboard tab at the top of the page and select Clubs from the drop-down menu that appears. On the app, select the Groups tab from the bottom menu.
    • Search for “USLAW – SEA – Live Better” club
    • On the club page, select “Join.”

USLAW Peloton Team

  • The USLAW Live Better Team is a Peloton group for USLAW members and their clients interested in cycling, stretching, and strength training. The team provides a space to track collective progress, participate in shared challenges, and stay connected with colleagues through Peloton’s community features.
  • How to join:
    • Email Rod Umberger at rumberger@williamskastner.com to connect with the group.
    • Rod has created an invitation-only Team on the Peloton App, and he would like to hear from everyone who is interested in the Team to get a better idea of what types of rides, stretching and strength training that participants would be interested in.
    • Note: The USLAW Peloton group will join together on dates and times to be announced to participate in the same ride, stretching and/or strength training. Rod will provide instructions when contacted.
