USLAW NETWORK approves two new ex officio Board positions
POSTED SEPTEMBER 7, 2018
The USLAW NETWORK Board of Directors recently approved the addition of two seats on the Board for members who will serve in an ex officio capacity. The positions are earmarked for representatives of USLAW’s Future Leaders initiative and the USLAW Diversity Council. Jessica L. Fuller (Future Leaders) from Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP, Denver, Colorado, and Earl W. Houston, II (Diversity Council) from Martin, Tate, Morrow & Marston, P.C., Memphis, Tennessee, have accepted the invitation to serve in this capacity. The ex officio Board members will serve two-year terms in a non-voting capacity.
“We are pleased to add two spots to the Board in order to welcome members involved with two important USLAW initiatives – Future Leaders and Diversity Council,” said John D. Cromie, immediate past Chair of USLAW and a partner at Connell Foley LLP in New Jersey. “With this expansion, we are creating a venue for direct communication and ongoing dialogue with these two very important groups within the NETWORK, and providing additional leadership opportunities for USLAW members.”
About the Future Leaders
(Pictured: Jessica L. Fuller – Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP) USLAW’s Future Leaders group creates opportunities for lawyers from USLAW firms to gather, network and participate in many facets of the organization and develop paths of leadership within USLAW.
About the Diversity Council
(Pictured: Earl W. Houston, II – Martin, Tate, Morrow & Marston, P.C.) The USLAW Diversity Council was formed in 2017 and is comprised of USLAW member attorneys. The purpose of the Council is to create a forum within USLAW in which member firms and clients can collaborate and exchange best practices in matters relating to diversity and inclusion, recruitment, hiring, retention, and promotion of diverse attorneys and staff within USLAW firms. The Council consults with and seeks active participation from the USLAW Client Leadership Council and other USLAW clients, and reports directly to the USLAW Board of Directors.
