USLAW NETWORK, Inc. (USLAW) has created the Champions Award to annually recognize an individual/organization who has shown outstanding service and dedication to the philanthropic efforts of the USLAW NETWORK Foundation. The inaugural award was presented to Nicholas E. Christin of Wicker Smith in Miami during last week’s Fall 2023 USLAW NETWORK Client Conference in Dana Point, California.

“Nick (Christin) has been a tireless advocate for USLAW’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts, and he, his colleagues and the Wicker Smith firm have been generous contributors to the USLAW NETWORK Foundation and its mission to support future lawyers through our scholarship program. We are thrilled to recognize his immense commitment by presenting him with the inaugural USLAW NETWORK Champions Award,” said Amanda Pennington Ketchum, immediate past chair of USLAW NETWORK from Dysart Taylor in Kansas City, Missouri. “Throughout his expansive career, Nick also has been active in mentoring young lawyers, promoting diversity in the profession and being a role model for client service. We are honored to recognize his positive impact on our Foundation and the legal profession and name him our inaugural recipient of the Champions Award.”

The USLAW NETWORK Champions Award is an annual award that is presented to deserving recipients who have contributed their time, resources, and efforts to further the mission of the USLAW NETWORK Foundation and towards the betterment of the legal field. They have embraced the spirit of giving and have made a meaningful difference in the lives of those around them. The award is given annually during the Fall USLAW NETWORK Client Conference.

The USLAW NETWORK Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including funding scholarships to provide financial assistance to diverse law students pursuing a legal education at an American Bar Association-accredited U.S. law school.
