Leslie Parker is Adler Pollock & Sheehan's Cannabis Practice Group co-chair. She has significant experience in advising cannabis clients on the legal and regulatory framework relevant to conducting a legal cannabis business, including issues of licensing, litigation, and regulatory compliance. Leslie regularly works with licensed compassion centers, cultivators, and health care providers, as well as cannabis industry investors and vendors in a wide array of federal and state regulatory compliance matters. Using her knowledge of the industry and litigation experience, Leslie has also represented cannabis organizations in contract and employment disputes. She also has experience advising other non-cannabis clients regarding the intersection of the cannabis industry with their established businesses. Leslie also focuses her practice on commercial litigation and healthcare law. She has represented clients in a wide array of disputes that include health care litigation and regulatory compliance, contractual claims, business torts, employment discrimination, fraud, and administrative law. Leslie serves as the Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Rhode Island Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, is a member of the local board of Generation Citizen and is Co-Chair of the Rhode Island Chapter of Boston College Law School Alumni Association. She has been named a Rising Star by the Super Lawyers since 2014.
