Lisa Dal Gallo is a partner at Hanson Bridgett LLP and head of the construction practice group. She has 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and worked for Turner Construction for nearly a decade holding various field and office positions. During that time, she completed millions of dollars worth of work-in-place for the core-and-shell and tenant improvement divisions in the following sectors: hospitals and other healthcare facilities, laboratories, retail space, office towers, high-rise residential, and light industrial. Lisa's construction field experience provides her with a deeper perspective and understanding of the construction process making her invaluable in assisting construction clients. The primary focus of her practice is advising owners, designers, contractors or project teams regarding multi-million dollar design and construction deal structures utilizing collaborative and integrated delivery processes (including design build, integrated project delivery (IPD), and public-private partnerships (P3)) and drafting bid documents, contracts, and BIM protocols for large private and public works. Lisa is experienced with public procurement processes, HUD and USDA guidelines and protocols, and has international contract experience. On the claims side, she has experience advising clients regarding resolution of a variety of legal issues including contract disputes, delay claims, termination, mechanic liens and stop payment notice claims, defects and alternative dispute resolution. Lisa has a reputation for successfully working with clients to resolve claims and conflicts as they arise through business and legal negotiations avoiding costly litigation. She is the founder of California Women in Design + Construction (“CWDC”), a Legal 500 Recommended Construction Attorney, a member of California State University, Chico’s College of Engineering Advisory Board, and a LEED Accredited Professional.
