Taylor D. Brewer

Taylor Brewer concentrates her practice in complex litigation. She defends health care professionals of all kinds against medical malpractice, regulatory, and constitutional claims including deliberate indifference. Taylor represents physicians, nurses, and other licensed health care providers, as well as corporate entities such as hospitals and private companies and practice groups. She also represents constitutional officers against civil rights claims. She has authored and is a national speaker on legal issues in correctional health care.
Taylor began her career and gained significant jury trial experience defending automobile liability cases for GEICO. She has carried that experience into transportation defense more broadly, including the defense of commercial motor carriers against personal injury claims.
Taylor is the Pro Bono Chair of her firm and is passionate about raising awareness of the justice gap. She is the current President of the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation, the mission of which is to increase pro bono participation among attorneys in Central Virginia. Taylor also serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys and the Richmond Bar Association. She and her family are active members of Reveille United Methodist Church, where she helps lead her adult Sunday School class. Outside the office, Taylor enjoys running and spending time with her husband and three young children.
