Tom Oliver is a founding partner of Carr Allison and is based in the firm's Birmingham, Alabama, office. He is a trial attorney focusing on the defense of companies in the state and federal courts throughout Alabama. Tom's practice is concentrated on defending catastrophic claims in the transportation, professional and health care liability arenas. Tom serves as national and regional counsel for several transportation companies. He has been designated in the Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers and the top attorneys in Alabama. He is an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at Cumberland School of Law. He is a trustee and past president of the Law Foundation of the Alabama State Bar, has been inducted as a Fellow of the State Bar and is a former chair of the USLAW NETWORK Board of Directors. For fun, Tom is an avid pilot and golfer.
