William Hong was born in Seoul, South Korea and was raised in the Inland Empire in Southern California. Mr. Hong is an associate attorney with the law firm Coleman, Chavez & Associates. His primary concentration is in workers’ compensation law. Prior to joining Coleman, Chavez & Associates, Mr. Hong represented a range of clients in matters involving workers’ compensation, bankruptcy, and general civil litigation including personal injury. He has represented insured and uninsured employers, as well as, major third-party administrators in workers’ compensation defense. Mr. Hong has also represented insolvent debtors and secured lenders in both simple and complex bankruptcy matters. Mr. Hong obtained his Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of California, Riverside in Political Science and History in 2004. He continued on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts in 2009. He was admitted to practice law within the state of California since December of 2009. He is also admitted to practice in all California Federal District Courts. During his matriculation at the New England School of Law, Mr. Hong has interned and clerked with judges in Suffolk County Superior Court as well as for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office with their Medicare/Medicaid Fraud Unit. Mr. Hong resides in downtown Los Angeles. Outside of work he enjoys running, watching basketball games, trying out new restaurants , spending time with family and friends, and watching 80’s and 90’s movies obsessively.
