Janice Beacham receives USLAW NETWORK Bill Burns Award

USLAW NETWORK names Janice W. Beacham, senior director of risk management/safety at Estes Express Lines, the 2026 USLAW NETWORK Bill Burns Award recipient. USLAW created the award to annually recognize a client who has demonstrated outstanding service and dedication to USLAW. The award is named after Bill Burns, a longtime leader in transportation risk management and litigation at Landstar System, a Jacksonville, Florida-based transportation company.

“Janice Beacham has been a tremendous supporter of USLAW and a valued voice within our Transportation and Logistics Practice Group for many years, and we are thrilled to recognize her with the 2026 USLAW Bill Burns Award,” said Jennifer D. Tricker, immediate past USLAW Chair, from Baird Holm LLP in Nebraska. “Janice consistently brings intelligence, insight and an important client perspective to our programs and conversations, while her leadership extends across the broader transportation litigation industry, including her commitment to advancing women in the field. Janice’s longstanding engagement, partnership and commitment to USLAW embody what this award is all about.”

Beacham (pictured, left, with Tricker) has actively participated in numerous USLAW initiatives as a speaker and facilitator. She was also invited to serve as a USLAW NETWORK Client Advisor for the Transportation and Logistics Practice Group, where she works collaboratively with the group’s leadership to ensure USLAW’s programs and resources remain aligned with the evolving needs of the client community.

The 2026 USLAW NETWORK Bill Burns Award was presented at the 2026 USLAW NETWORK Annual Client Conference in Boston.
