Jennifer Tricker of Baird Holm LLP named Chair of USLAW NETWORK

POSTED SEPTEMBER 18, 2025

Jennifer D. Tricker of Baird Holm LLP in Omaha, Nebraska, has been named Chair of USLAW NETWORK for 2025-26. Tricker succeeds Kenneth B. Wingate of Sweeny, Wingate & Barrow, P.A., in Columbia, South Carolina. Wingate will remain on the Executive Committee in his new role as immediate past Chair.

I am incredibly honored to serve as Chair, and I am excited to carry forward the momentum [Immediate Past Chair] Ken Wingate has created while we continue to build upon USLAW’s strong foundation of building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional client service,” said Tricker. “I also look forward to USLAW’s 25th anniversary in 2026 and helping to increase the visibility and recognition of the USLAW brand among clients, peers, and the broader legal industry as we showcase the energy, connection and business collaboration that will prepare and propel us into our next 25.”

Tricker has served on the USLAW NETWORK Board of Directors since 2019, most recently serving as vice chair of the 2024-25 executive committee and secretary/treasurer in 2023-24. She also has served as Chair of the USLAW NETWORK Women’s Connection.

As part of Tricker’s tenure as Chair, you will see a focus on the “buzz” around the NETWORK. Her theme, “USLAW is All the Buzz,” will highlight the collaborative energy of the NETWORK while creating greater visibility and recognition of the USLAW brand—showcasing the vibrancy, connectivity, and strength that helps USLAW NETWORK thrive as a leading business development and client-first service organization. Throughout the year, you’ll see creative touches tied to this theme.

Tricker is a partner at Baird Holm LLP where she has significant first-chair experience effectively representing clients in a wide range of areas, including complex commercial litigation, medical device and product liability defense, freight and catastrophic transportation claims, and real estate and construction cases. She also represents her clients at the appellate level, arguing before the Nebraska Court of Appeals and the Nebraska Supreme Court. Tricker presently serves as the Chair of the Firm’s Litigation section.

In addition to her USLAW leadership role, she is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), the American Bar Foundation, and a Fellow in both the Litigation Counsel of America. She received her Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of Nebraska in 2004, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif. For more information, see her bio to learn more.
