Tamara Goorevitz named Chair of USLAW NETWORK
POSTED SEPTEMBER 24, 2026
Tamara B. Goorevitz, a principal with USLAW member firm Franklin & Prokopik, P.C. in Baltimore, Maryland, has been named Chair of USLAW NETWORK for 2026-2027. She succeeds Jennifer D. Tricker of Baird Holm LLP in Omaha, Nebraska. Tricker will remain on the Executive Committee as immediate past Chair.
“I’m excited to serve as Chair of USLAW NETWORK and build on the strong foundation established by the leaders who came before me,” said Goorevitz. “As we move beyond our 25th anniversary and look toward the future, I believe our greatest opportunity is to build on what has always made USLAW strong — our people and the relationships that connect us. I look forward to working with our members and client community to strengthen those connections, create new ones and continue building opportunities together.”
Goorevitz joined the USLAW NETWORK Board of Directors in 2019 and the Executive Committee in 2021, most recently serving as USLAW vice chair. She also previously served as chair of USLAW’s Transportation Practice Group from 2018-2020.
As she begins her term, Goorevitz is looking to USLAW’s first 25 years as inspiration for its next chapter through the theme, This Era Belongs to US. It reflects a NETWORK shaped by members, firms and leaders — and the connections, stories and collective opportunity to define what comes next.
“When I look at what USLAW has become, I don’t see one person’s story or one firm’s story. I see thousands of connections and countless shared stories that, together, have become the USLAW story,” said Goorevitz. “This Era Belongs to US is about building on that foundation — strengthening the relationships we have, creating new ones and recognizing the collective strength they give us. That is what US means to me: an interconnected NETWORK of members, firms, leaders and clients who are stronger because we are connected.”
Goorevitz’ practice emphasizes trucking and transportation law, including defense of liability and insurance coverage actions for motor carriers, brokers, freight forwarders and/or their insurers, and the litigation of freight charge and freight loss and damage claims. She also maintains active retail and civil litigation practices.
Beyond USLAW, Goorevitz served as chair of DRI’s Trucking Law Committee from 2012– 2014 and as program chair for DRI’s 2010 Trucking Law Seminar. She is an active member of the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA) and Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA), where she served on the board and as chair of the Logistics and E-Commerce Committee.
