Aaron J. Hayes

Aaron Hayes joined the firm after graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He maintained a general litigation and appellate practice and also provided coverage advice to insurance carriers. After his initial tenure with the firm, Aaron worked for nearly seven years as a prosecutor with an upstate solicitor’s office. As a prosecutor, Aaron tried numerous cases to jury verdict. Aaron was assigned a wide variety of cases, and he handled criminal charges ranging from minor traffic infractions to homicides. In 2020, Aaron rejoined the firm to resume his civil litigation practice. An experienced courtroom advocate, Aaron has appeared in trial before the United States District Court (civil), the Court of General Sessions (criminal), the Court of Common Pleas (civil), the Master-in-Equity (civil), and numerous Magistrates’ courts (criminal). Aaron also regularly represents clients before the South Carolina appellate courts.
