Tom Oliver is a founding shareholder of Carr Allison, a southeastern-based civil defense firm, and currently serves as its president. A trial attorney with a substantial practice focused on the defense of catastrophic and complex matters involving transportation and professional liability litigation, Tom has litigated cases in state and federal courts. He is designated as regional and statewide counsel for numerous companies and their insurers. Tom developed Carr Allison’s accident response GO TEAM and coordinates catastrophic accident investigations for various clients. Tom has served as Chair of the USLAW NETWORK. He was a trustee and past president of the Law Foundation of the Alabama State Bar, has been inducted as a Fellow of the State Bar and has served as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL). Tom is an AV Preeminent® peer-review rated attorney through Martindale-Hubbell® An instrument-rated pilot, Tom relishes flying in his Beechcraft Bonanza.
