Greg Copeland is one of the founding shareholders of the firm of Copeland, Cook, Taylor and Bush located in Ridgeland, Mississippi, a suburb of Mississippi’s capitol city - Jackson. He focuses his practice on insurance, insurance defense, and commercial litigation. Actively trying cases in state and federal courts since 1975, Mr. Copeland has completed over 150 jury trials. His clients include insurance companies, insurance commissioners and directors from several states, receivers for insolvent insurance companies, and national and state insurance trade organizations. He has served as counsel to the Mississippi Windstorm Underwriting Association and other residual market plans since the early 1990's. In that role, he works with Lloyd’s brokers and Underwriters in procuring reinsurance for over $7 billion in property. Mr. Copeland received his J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1974 and graduated from Mississippi State University in 1972. He has served as Law Clerk to the Mississippi Supreme Court and as Mississippi Counsel for the American Insurance Association.
