Virtual Job Fair for Diverse Law School Students

The USLAW NETWORK Foundation hosts an annual virtual job fair for diverse law school students. The job fair offers opportunities to connect diverse law school candidates to USLAW member law firms, USLAW corporate partners, and client companies of USLAW member firms. Rising 2L and 3L law school students from an underrepresented population and background, and/or demonstrates a defined commitment to issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, or social justice in their communities or within their academic career are eligible to participate and seek summer associate and/or full-time positions.

In 2022, over a dozen students were offered summer associate positions within USLAW NETWORK law firms as a result of the USLAW NETWORK Virtual Job Fair for Diverse Law School Students. In 2023, the job fair connected 30 USLAW member firms with 690 registered candidates representing 102 ABA-accredited law schools in 35 states with over 420 chats conducted.

The 2024 USLAW NETWORK Virtual Job Fair for Diverse Law Students will take place on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

There is no cost for USLAW member law firms, USLAW corporate partners, USLAW client companies, or diverse law school students to join. Participating organizations have access to the software in advance to create an online presence and provide information that will be helpful to connect students based on geography and interest. Candidates will have access to the platform at least one month in advance of the fair to set up their profile, including their resume and most recent law school transcript, and determine which companies they would like to meet.

USLAW member attorneys will also host a pre-event webinar that will offer interviewing tips and guidance for participating law school students.
