John Jewell concentrates his practice on information technology and computer and software licensing and has frequently been involved in a variety of commercial transactions involving banking, real estate, and debtor/creditor rights.
Mr. Jewell has extensive experience representing closely held and publicly traded clients in all phases of information technology-related matters, in both the domestic and international markets. He has been retained to advise on legal issues and assist with structuring and negotiating information technology transactions. Some representative engagements in this area include outsourcing transactions; services contracts; software licensing, integration, and implementation transactions; acquisition of software, technology, and information companies; electronic commerce transactions; distributorship agreements; joint ventures; alliance agreements; and third-party provider agreements.
