Todd G. Lezon is a Partner in the Los Angeles office who focuses his practice on transportation liability. At M&C, Mr. Lezon represents defendants in all stages of civil litigation in commercial auto, personal auto, habitability, and products liability cases. He has proven himself to be an exceptional problem solver in complicated legal problems, such as winning a motion to expunge a lis pendens that won the case for his client. Moreover, he is committed to working closely with his clients to zealously advocate their position and provide the best results.
Mr. Lezon's commercial auto litigation experience includes defending truck drivers and contract service providers in high-exposure transportation cases involving catastrophic injuries. His personal auto litigation experience encompasses representing defendants engaged in virtually every type of vehicle accident. Additionally, Todd's habitability litigation experience includes representing property owners and property management companies in adverse liability cases with substantial exposure to statutory attorney fees and civil penalties.
Todd is vastly knowledgeable and experienced in devising plans and strategies to help his clients excel. While at M&C, he prevailed on a motion to quash for lack of personal jurisdiction after a four-hour evidentiary hearing that involved examining and cross-examining several witnesses. The results led to his client's dismissal from the case. In addition, he has effectively prepared and argued motions for summary judgment, persuaded the plaintiff's attorneys to dismiss his clients from the case voluntarily, and settled cases at mediation for less than half of the potential value of the case.
