USLAW, S-E-A launch Live Better health and wellness initiative

USLAW NETWORK, a global law firm network, and S-E-A, USLAW’s longtime premier corporate partner and a multi-disciplined forensic engineering, fire investigation and visualization services company, jointly announce the launch of an ongoing health and wellness initiative focusing on mental health and physical well-being. The joint Live Better initiative focuses on mind, heart and health and will promote a culture of health and well-being for anyone who has returned to the office, is working from home or managing a hybrid work schedule. The initiative is targeted to USLAW member attorneys, USLAW and S-E-A clients, spouses and staff.

COVID-19 is ever present, and the powerful impacts are felt at home, at work, in our daily routines, levels of stress, social interactions (or lack thereof in some cases), and how we eat, sleep and exercise. Live Better puts people first, helps individuals focus on themselves, and delivers actionable resources and education to help uplift everyone as we navigate the pandemic environment.

“We are proud to partner with S-E-A to help our colleagues and clients live better lives during what is a significantly challenging period for all of us,” said Rodney L. Umberger, incoming chair of USLAW NETWORK from Williams Kastner in Seattle. “Now more than ever, we need to be reminded to take care of ourselves so we can take care of others and be productive at home and work, and this initiative will go a long way towards that effort. We have been a people-focused and relationship-driven organization since our inception 20 years ago – and S-E-A has been alongside us for nearly as long – and we are excited to work with the S-E-A team to launch Live Better.”

Join us first kickoff event

To kick off the initiative, USLAW is dedicating an entire track to health and wellness during its upcoming Fall 2021 Client Conference in Colorado Springs, and USLAW and S-E-A jointly hosted Dr. Romie: brainSHIFT 3 Mindful Steps to Break the Stress-Success Cycle on Sept. 30.

“Because of COVID-19, the lines are blurred more than ever between work and home life,” said Jason Baker, CEO of S-E-A, “and it is important to create resources that help individuals and their employers navigate the daily stressors that directly impact their welfare and productivity. We are excited to team up with USLAW to deliver a robust and diverse line-up of activities, resources and opportunities that will help propel our respective constituents forward in a new and healthier manner.”
