John A. Campbell, III is a partner in Wicker Smith’s Pensacola office. Over the past 20+ years, he has represented defendants in claims arising from medical/professional malpractice, trucking/auto accidents, premises liability, long term care liability, construction defects and product liability.

As an AV® Preeminent™ rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Campbell has tried various matters wherein the alleged damages have ranged from property damage claims to catastrophic injuries including paralysis, amputation, brain damage, disfigurement and death. He began his career in the Miami office in 1993 representing insurers, developers and contractors in claims arising out of Hurricane Andrew.

Appearing in both State and Federal Courts Mr. Campbell has successfully defended complex litigation claims including first party insurance claims, construction defects, property damage, personal injury and wrongful death cases. Additionally, Mr. Campbell’s experience includes representing engineers, architects, contractors, and water/mold mitigation companies in matters arising from residential and commercial buildings, condominiums and bridge construction. He has also defended pharmaceutical distributors, pharmacies, manufacturers of ladders, gun safes, medical devices, and air conditioners.

Mr. Campbell was admitted to practice in the state of Florida in 1993 and is an active member of the Escambia and Santa Rosa County Bar Associations. He is also a member of The American Board of Trial Advocates, which is an invitation only organization where membership is by nomination and peer review only.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Florida International University in 1990 and then went on to earn a Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1993 from University of Miami School of Law
